Yesterday’s Chapel, “Who is Jesus to You?” It is important to have that personal relationship with Jesus. We can’t rely on Dad & Mom or Grandpa & Grandma’s walk with God. We have to know him for ourselves.
“The Little Mermaid” We need to be all not half committed . You can’t walk down the middle of the street and be safe. Just like our daily walk, we need to be on God’s side.
Pom-Pom monsters some students made during free time after goals were finished today. They turned out really cute.
More pictures from yesterday’s fun in the snow ❄️
Our students loved spending this winter day sledding for gym. We warmed up with hot chocolate afterwards. Lots of laughs and good memories made.
“You’re Just a Kid” We are thankful for the encouraging word from Bro. Mundy this afternoon. You can still do great things for God’s Kingdom because you are just a kid. There are several kids in the Bible who did great things at a young age.
Students learned to have fun with nouns, verbs and adjectives during a few silly mad lib readings during Creative Writings. Students were challenged this upcoming week to write about “the person besides God, who has been the biggest influence in their life and why”
“The Voices inside of our heads” Bro. Mundy, great message this afternoon in Chapel.
“My 1st Day as President of the United States, I am going to ……” our topic for this week’s Creative Writing Class.
“It’s just an Apple” We are thankful for the good word and the presence of God we felt in chapel today.

We had a busy and Merry week at PCS. Here’s a few more pictures from Tuesday’s Field Trip, the Jr/Sr High classes went Christmas Shopping while the Elementary Class had a blast at Boonshoft. We finished out the week with a Christmas Party with crafts, goodies and pizza. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
These otters loved to show off at Boonshoft. They made sure we were paying attention to them. Hope you enjoy this short video as much as we enjoyed watching the otters.
Some memories from our Elementary Field Trip to the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. They learned about our sun, moon, and stars in the planetarium and solar system exhibit. They gained new knowledge about mummies in the Egypt room. They enjoyed watching the animals play in the Boonshoft Zoo. We observed nature from the tree house. I think their favorite part was the 3 story high jungle gym. Lots of laughter and tons of fun today, learning through play.
Our kids had a great time decorating CHRISTmas cookies and CHRISTmas tree cupcakes this afternoon. Such a fun and delicious way to spend part of the afternoon.
1st Quarter Honor Students, we are so proud of all our students and their accomplishments.
Our students made candy canes and CHRISTmas wreaths today.
Our 1st-5th Graders painted pumpkins this afternoon. We love their creativity and excitement.
Interesting Fact: The buckeye tree got its name because the Native Americans compared it with the eye of a Buck (deer).
This was in one of our student’s Ohio History Pace
Our students used their artistic creativity to paint rocks this afternoon. We hope you enjoy their artwork!!
We had a great day at our 1st Quarter Field Trip. We had pizza at the school. Then we walked through the corn maze at the Lost Creek Reserve outside of Troy. Finished our trip with Ice Cream from Susie’s Big Dipper in Piqua.

We had a wonderful 1st day of school. All of our students completed their goals early today. We rewarded them with an afternoon at the park. We are looking forward to a great school year!!
As school begins, remember, God has given us His manual for life—the Bible. Educators, spend time sharing the Word of God with your students. The integration of the Bible into the A.C.E. curriculum will assist you!
Character strips are used throughout the A.C.E. curriculum to demonstrate Godly character, portraying an academic lesson, or sometimes just to make students smile. 🙂 Enjoy this one from Word Building Level 9.
Thank you Parents and Students for making the 2020-2021 School year a success!!!! We made it through Distance Learning Days, lots of snow days, and many unexpected challenges. Our students just went with it, persevered and came through the year better than before. After the 2020 Shutdowns, we made sure to start each school day with Thanking God for the opportunity to gather together for school.
Thank you Sis Courtney Brown, Sis Brandy M Branson, Bro Dan Branson, Sis Rhoda Nelson and Sis Tammy Smith for all your dedication to our school. Our students are blessed to have people like you who give of your time and love to help them with school. Thank You Pastor Dan Hathaway for your vision of a Christian Education for our children.
