A BIG DAY FOR THE MARCHING ARROWS!

The Marching Arrows earned the Diamond Award at the Dutchmen Field Championships in Orange City for improving their score by an impressive 10 points from last season!

The Arrows finished 11th out of 28 bands, showcasing their hard work, growth, and teamwork.

Congratulations to our students and thank you to everyone who supports the Marching Arrows! 💚🖤

Our pep band is one of the many ways students share their talents, get involved, and bring our school community together. Providing opportunities for students and supporting the day-to-day operations of our schools takes ongoing resources.

FFA is starting the year off strong with Livestock Evaluation capturing 1st place!

Members competed in judging classes and questions at the University of Minnesota on Wednesday. Students had to utilize critical thinking to rank livestock (sheep, pigs, goats, and beef) from best to worst as well as answer questions about structure, balance, and the animals themselves.

Even wonder how we can get milk from a soybean plant or an almond?

Food Products & Processing studied just that! Using collaboration and communication, students evaluated whole milk and milk substitutes (almond, rice, soy, and coconut beverages) as part of their food labeling unit.

A food lab is not complete without taste testing! Samples of each variety added another layer to their critical thinking: flavor!

On behalf of the students and staff at Pipestone Area Schools, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Knights of Columbus for their generous donation of winter coats for our students.

The Knights of Columbus generously delivered six boxes of coats for students from elementary through high school. Your kindness and generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and their families.

We are truly grateful for your support and for helping ensure that our students will have warm coats to wear throughout the upcoming winter season. Thank you for your continued commitment to supporting the children and families of our community.
