If you have attended ESCAPe for a decade or two, you know that Randolph Mantooth visited with us more than once.

His role as Johnny Gage on the show Emergency, along with Roy DeSoto played by Kevin Tighe, gave many of us the heart and desire to serve in emergency services!

Thanks to Mr. Mantooth for not only always being willing to visit with us, but also understanding the impact he had on the profession!

Randy Mantooth, beloved for his role as paramedic John Gage on 'Emergency!,' has died at age 80. His work inspired generations of EMS providers and helped bring prehospital care into the spotlight.
