🦉 What did the owl eat?
Our little explorers became wildlife scientists today as they examined owl pellets to discover what owls eat.

Using careful hands and lots of curiosity, they searched for tiny bones and compared their discoveries to a science chart to identify what the owl had eaten.

Activities like this help children develop:
✨ curiosity
✨ observation skills
✨ early science thinking

Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones you have to dig for.

🎩📚 Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

“Oh the things you can think!”
“Oh the places you’ll go!”
And the stories we’ll share at our preschool!

In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd, our students are celebrating with colorful characters, silly rhymes, and lots of reading fun.

Throughout March, students are invited to bring in a favorite Dr. Seuss book to read to the class. Each child may bring one book at a time, and we’ll share it during circle time.

📖 Just remember to write your child’s name inside the book so we can be sure it finds its way back home.

Because at Mother Lode Mountain Tots, a love of reading starts early… and sometimes with a cat in a very tall hat. 🎩

Throwback to Presidents’ Day 🇺🇸

Our students had so much fun creating their own George Washington hats while practicing some important life skills along the way.

🎨 Creating something with their own hands builds confidence

This Saturday, December 13, Santa will be next door at Sierra Yard Supply from 11 to 1. The fire department will be there also, I think giving rides. There should be treats, and I believe little gift bags for the kiddos.
