I am sorry to have to announce the passing of fellow alumni, Lawson David Beck, Jr. There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 from 2pm to 5pm - PLEASE be prompt! It will be held at the American Legion Post Veterans Hall, 1303 N. 1st Street, Dixon, CA 95620.

What an inspiring thing they are doing to the portables that are on site at PVHS! It's really nice to see KQED cover something like this for the wider audience. Kudos to art teacher Jan Barzottini and all the students for creating something to inspire. And thank you to my fellow classmate, Lynna, for posting about it!

Awwww, Mr. Tietjen has passed away from Parkinson's Disease! He was a great teacher/counselor and a great person. Very compassionate to the faculty as much as he was to the students at school. Helped me several times as well. He would ask students if they were okay, if something was wrong, or if they needed help. He genuinely cared. AND he was an interesting teacher as well! Sleep in peace, Mr. Tietjen.

Class of '92 Thomas Torrez will be the DJ. This event is open to any graduating year. Please share this and pass the word.

Come share your memories with us and walk down memory lane from 7-11pm (or 8-11). Tickets are $15 at the door. You can also buy tickets in advance on the PVHS website (on the left) or follow it here http://tinyurl.com/ne62pue Proceeds benefit Leadership and Pinole Valley students.

For Throwback Thursday, I am actually sharing something that's coming up on April 26th, 2014. It's a "last dance" and is open to ALL alumni of PVHS. They are tearing down OUR version of PVHS (hence the throwback) and building a NEW PVHS, so they're having a dance for the alumni as a way to say "farewell" to our school and welcome the new school for the future students. PLEASE SHARE so people know about this! Thanks to Keri, Amy and Jon for posting this in the c/o '92 group (Keri, it won't let me repost to this page, so I had to upload myself - I tried!).
