(Sigh of relief) Ahhhh... There we go everyone, another Pine Valley Days is in the books!
Thanks as always to our members and their families (Tom and Trina Barret, Wayne Miller, Patrick and Cynthia Duggan, Ron and Tracy Siefert, Hoss and Vivalee Anderson, Lisa Smith, Christina Walker) and our volunteers both new and returning (Heather, Pandora, Christina's crew, MEHS Volleyball, MEHS Class of 2028)!
Thanks to the Parade Coordinators for the always awesome Pine Valley Days Parade! (OMG: Biplanes, Bagpipes, and a Monster Truck!)
Thanks to all our Vendors (both food and merchandise)!

And to you, the Mountain Empire Community: We do this for you and can't do it without you!
That being said, let's go ahead and acknowledge the pack of elephants in the room: It was too hot again this year, you should move the date... Renting the Park is expensive, you should do it by the Post Office... Permits are a pain in the a$$... There were no tank tops... There should be horses/pine trees/mountains/the PV logo/a sunrise on the t-shirts... Bring back the rodeo...
As the old parable goes: When the mouse was asked how he ate the elephant he replied, 'One bite at a time'... ;-)
We are going to start with the larger elephants... Bring the BBQ sauce!
