Spiritual abuse can be deeply harmful and difficult to recognize. Because spirituality and faith are often deeply personal, many victims and survivors may not immediately identify these behaviors as abuse.

Faith leaders and spiritual communities can play an important role in creating safer, supportive spaces for survivors.

To help recognize spiritual abuse and better support your community, the National Domestic Violence Hotline offers downloadable tip sheets and resources for faith leaders. Access resources and learn more: https://bit.ly/3Tk336x
