SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization that serves more than 300,000 students and instructors annually. More than 1,000 business, industry and labor sponsors actively support SkillsUSA at the national level through financial aid, in-kind contributions and involvement of their people in SkillsUSA activities. Membership in SkillsUSA affords students the opportunity to demonstrate occupationa

l and leadership skills by competing in state and national competitions. SkillsUSA State competitions are held annually in the spring and the national competitions are held in June. At the annual-level SkillsUSA Championships, over 5,200 students compete in 91 occupational and leadership areas. At the state level, approximately 6,000 middle school, high school, and college students compete in about 80 occupational and leadership contests from construction, transportation, public safety, hospitality, culinary, health science, cosmetology, IT, arts/communications, & more!
