We had such an amazing start to the school year with Resurrection Lutheran School! Rain or shine, we explored the barrier island habitats and found lots of cool critters! 🦀🐚🦉🐟🦐 (📸Thank you Ms.Jenny for the amazing photos!)

Sound to sea staff has been busy these last two weeks training for the school year! We are so ready to share our knowledge with our students this year!! 🌊🐬🦑

We ended our week with a Sand Castle Extravaganza🏖️ where our Science Explorers worked together to build the best sand creations🌟 they could imagine! And we wrapped it all up with our Open House where our Science Explorers got to show off all the things they learned and made throughout the week. What a great way to wrap up the Summer☀️!

While we weren’t busy exploring our habitats, our Science Explorers spent their time getting crafty🎨, splashing around💦, and having loads of fun☀️!

Our Science Explorers had so much fun exploring our habitats this week one last time!! Session 10 of Summer Sound to Sea was full of epic finds in the Sound🌊 and Pond🦀, sensory hikes through the Maritime Forest🌳, meeting some of our animal ambassadors🦉, and appreciating what nature has to offer🌈!!

We wrapped up water wonders week last week with a water carnival on Thursday and a beach morning on Friday! It was such a fun week with these awesome campers! 🐚🌊🐢🐡🐬

When we weren’t exploring the habitats, we got crafty, had lunch with friends while looking over the beach, and enjoyed swim (& sand) time!

We spent lots of time exploring the beach, sound, and pond during water wonders week! We had tons of fun finding critters that rely on the water in these habitat 💧🌊
