Posted on Instagram: garibell_kindergarten_cuties of honored Patriot Day (9/11) by learning about real-life heroes in our community. Students talked about the importance of helpers—firefighters, police officers, doctors, and so many more—who keep us safe and cared for each day.
The children colored, wrote, and proudly shared their work to remember and celebrate the everyday heroes all around us.

Welcome New Teachers! 33 new teachers will join the MTPS faculty for 2025-2026. The district’s 3-day New Teacher Orientation launched on Wed, Aug 20. The New MTPS educators will support the district’s pre-k to grade 12 students at every level of education, across all 7 district schools in a wide variety of subject areas. Nearly 3,525 students are registered to attend MTPS’ first day of school on Wednesday, August 27.
