The 51st International Children's Art Exhibition held in Japan just announced their results and Alan C. from MeWe Art’s Chatham location received a gold award! This is an exhibition organized by a few organizations which includes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Department of Culture and the National Alliance for Fine Arts Education. There were 40,982 students from Japan and 32,799 international students that joined this exhibition. The selection committee included the Japanese Foreign Minister, professor of Musashino Art University, professor of Yokohama National University and the professor of Waseda University,. Congratulations Alan!🥳

Regis C.'s(5 year old) Birds in My Backyard drawing and Reina C.'s (5 year old) My Cute Cat drawing were selected as winning work of the month in Sino Monthly magazine January issue. Congratulations! We love the bold colors, cuteness and happiness on both of their work!

Our Saturday 1:30pm group started drawing portraits via ZOOM since the beginning of November. Everybody has made great progress in this period. Chris C. (8th grade) submitted his first portrait drawing to the 2020 Scholastic president portrait drawing contest. There were only three NJ student’s work that were selected as winners , and his work was one of them. Congratulations Chris!
