Dear Patrons of Pine Bluff School District,
Our school performance scores and letter grades have been released. These results give us an opportunity to recognize progress while also being honest about the work that remains.
Several schools increased their scores, including Broadmoor Elementary, which increased by more than 105 points and moved from an F to a C. Pine Bluff High School, 34th Elementary, Pine Bluff Jr. High, and James Matthews Elementary also increased their scores. Southwood experienced a decline and will require focused attention.
While several of our schools remain below where we want them to be, these results do not define our students, staff, or schools. They provide information that must guide our next steps.
Our focus moving forward is simple: strong instruction, early intervention, effective leadership, collaboration, and accountability. We will continue to be data-informed, identify what is working, address what is not, and support our schools with urgency and purpose.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our students. We have work to do, and we will do it together.
