Every load that arrives at Highland has a story.

These logs come from working forests across the Southern United States, where landowners, foresters, and logging crews work together to responsibly manage forest resources for the long term.

What arrives at our facility isn't high-value lumber destined for furniture or construction. Much of it comes from thinning operations and other forest management activities that help maintain healthy, productive forests.

For us, these logs represent more than raw material. They represent jobs, stewardship, rural communities, and the first step in a process that creates value from resources that might otherwise go unused.
