💦📚 PBSD 21st CCLC IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! 📚💦

Looking for an after-school program where your scholar can learn, grow, explore, and shine? Our Southwood/Broadmoor 21st Century Community Learning Centers program combines academic support with hands-on enrichment experiences designed to keep scholars learning beyond the regular school day! 🌟

🏫 IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: Scholars must attend Broadmoor Elementary or Southwood Elementary during the regular school day to participate in our Southwood/Broadmoor 21st CCLC Program.

🩵 Grades 2 & 4–6: Applications are being accepted!
💜 Grade 3: Our priority application remains OPEN!
🩷 Grade 1: Currently FULL with an extensive waiting list.

There will be NO PBSD 21st CCLC PROGRAMMING TODAY, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at our Southwood/Broadmoor site.

Parents and guardians, please remember that scholars should follow their regular school-day dismissal procedures today. 21st CCLC afternoon transportation will NOT operate.

📚💦 We plan to resume regular programming tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23.

Our 2nd grade scholars had a blast getting hands-on with magnets, exploring how they attract, repel, and interact with different materials. There’s nothing better than seeing curiosity turn into discovery as our scholars learn by doing! 🧲🧠💡

📢 IMPORTANT 21st CCLC PROGRAM UPDATE 💦

PBSD Families & Stakeholders,

Please be advised that PBSD 21st CCLC programming at the Southwood/Broadmoor site is CANCELED for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Several members of our 21st CCLC team are required to attend meetings at their regularly assigned PBSD campuses tomorrow afternoon. As a result, we will not have the staffing necessary to provide the level of supervision and support our scholars deserve.

💙 The safety and adequate supervision of our scholars is always paramount.

Parents and guardians should make alternate after-school arrangements for tomorrow. Scholars should follow their regular school-day dismissal procedures and should not transition to 21st CCLC programming. 21st CCLC afternoon transportation will not operate tomorrow.

📚 Unless otherwise communicated, regular 21st CCLC programming will resume Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the understanding and flexibility of our families and stakeholders.
