The Sheridan School District is collecting data to determine if there is an interest for an Early Childhood Center for infants, toddlers and preschool children. The Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative has openings for HIPPY program home-based educators in the Sheridan and East End areas. HIPPY is a free 30-week home visiting program sponsored by school districts and state partners to support families in preparing their children for kindergarten. A high school diploma, reliable transportation, basic computer skills, and ability to pass a criminal background check are among the qualifications needed.
This is a great position – less than full-time, but with a wide range of benefits – and one that helps rising students in the Sheridan School District.
