πŸ—£οΈ: StB PARENT TESTIMONIAL 🫢🏻

We are parents of a seventh grader and a 2022 graduate of St. Bruno Catholic School. We believe that St Bruno School helps us establish and foster the foundation of Catholic values and faith in our children, as well as provide an academic rigor that prepares them well for high school. In addition to the core educational curriculum, our children are receiving instruction in Spanish, art, music and Religious education. St. Bruno also offers participation in sports through a Co-op agreement with Tamaroa school allowing my son to play basketball. My son is also able to play in the percussion section through Pinckneyville District 50 band. St. Bruno School instills community spirit in our children through activity collaboration with the local Assisted Living Facility. We hope that by sending our children to St. Bruno, they will grow into responsible individuals that recognize and practice Christian and social values, and be responsible members of the community.

Mark those calendars πŸ“… and get ready to eat! πŸ— This remains a day of fellowship we have all loved for many years! πŸ’šπŸ’›

πŸ— St. Bruno's Annual Picnic may be taking a different form this year, but don't worry, we're still serving up the delicious fried chicken you know and love!

For many years, the third Saturday of July has been St. Bruno Picnic weekend. While we're not holding the traditional picnic this year, we invite you to keep that date on your calendar and join us for our St. Bruno Chicken Dinner instead.

Gather with family and friends, enjoy a fantastic meal, and continue the tradition of supporting our parish. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and making new memories together.

And don't forget, there's more fun to come! Keep an eye out for details on our St. Bruno Spaghetti Dinner and raffles coming up in September. More information will be announced soon!

Thank you for your continued support of St. Bruno Parish. We can't wait to see you at the Chicken Dinner!

πŸ—£οΈ: StB PARENT TESTIMONIAL 🫢🏻

Choosing St. Bruno School for our son has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From August through May, he has absolutely loved every single day and never wanted to miss a moment. The small class sizes, welcoming environment, and strong sense of care truly set it apart.

Each morning, he looks forward to his high five from the principal and runs into his classroom with pure excitement. That kind of enthusiasm speaks volumes about the warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring environment the school has created and how happy he is there.

We have been incredibly impressed with how much he has learned and how much he has grown, both academically and socially. He can now write his first and last name, knows our phone number, and has developed strong skills in colors, shapes, letters, counting, patterns, and letter sounds, along with early math concepts like basic addition and greater than/less than. Just as importantly, he is building confidence along with his social-emotional and fine motor skills.

St. Bruno does an amazing job balancing structured learning with fun, hands-on activities that allow children to learn through play. The small class sizes truly make a difference, providing personalized attention and support for each child.

Communication between school and home has been outstandingβ€”they have a system that works, and I always feel informed and connected. The strong focus on safety has also given us complete peace of mind, which means everything as a parent.

We are so grateful to be part of the St. Bruno community. It has been an incredibly positive, nurturing, and enriching experience for our son, and we highly recommend it to other families.
