This year, our theme is “Friday Nights Start on Monday — Preparation Creates Performance.”

In Pilot Point, we love our Friday nights—the lights, the traditions, the excitement, and the pride of being a Bearcat. But the moments everyone celebrates are built long before the lights come on.

They’re built in classrooms, practices, rehearsals, early mornings, late afternoons, and in the decision to keep going when things get hard.

Because great moments don’t just happen. They are built.

I believe in our students, our staff, and what we can accomplish when we show up for one another and put in the work—every single day.

The lights may shine brightest on Friday night, but who we become is built Monday through Friday.

🧡🖤 The Friday Before Monday… 🖤🧡

What a way to finish our final Friday before students return! There were so many moments today that reminded me just how special it is to be a Bearcat.

A HUGE shoutout to our Pilot Point Band Boosters for absolutely spoiling our faculty and staff with a wonderful lunch. And apparently, they know the way to this principal’s heart because… I GOT MY WATERMELON! 🍉😂 Thank you for loving on us so well!

We also got to see an AMAZING performance, made sure our Day 1 procedures are ready to go, and started what I hope becomes a very special PPHS tradition. 🧡

Today, our first-year teachers officially cut the ribbon to their classrooms. 🎀✂️ But the best part wasn’t the ribbon—it was who stood behind them.

Our entire faculty and staff.

We wanted our newest teachers to see, from the very beginning, that they will never walk this journey alone. When you become a Bearcat, you become part of a family—and there is an entire team standing behind you, cheering you on and ready to help.

Monday, we welcome our students. Tonight, I’m simply grateful.

This is family. This is Pilot Point. This is what it means to be a Bearcat. 🐾🧡🖤

And after all… Friday Nights Start on Monday. 😉🏈

🎉🍎 The Bearcats Are Back! 🐾🧡🖤

Today we were excited to officially welcome our incredible Pilot Point High School teachers back to campus! Classrooms are coming to life as our staff prepares to welcome students for an amazing school year.

We had a great day getting to know one another, celebrating the start of a new year, and even putting our detective skills to the test by solving a "crime in the making!" 🕵️‍♀️🔍 It was the perfect mix of teamwork, laughter, and learning.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing teachers and staff for all of the hard work they're already putting in to make this school year the best one yet. Your dedication to our students does not go unnoticed, and we appreciate everything you do!

📚 Don't forget! Tomorrow is Schedule Pick-Up Day! We can't wait to welcome our Bearcats back to campus and kick off another fantastic year together! We will have Prestige Portraits on campus ready to take pictures.

🗓️ July 31 – 9th–11th Grade students will take their school pictures when they pick up their schedules.
🗓️ August 7 – Senior school pictures.

🚗 Senior Parking Passes
⭐ Top 10% Seniors: Parking passes go on sale July 22.
🎓 All Other Seniors: Parking passes go on sale July 27.
