Abingdon Park & Pony Farm

Bruno is available for lease! In-barn lease only at this time. He has a lead change, and can jump 18” courses and look really good doing it! He’s a happy boy and loves attention. He does require some heart and grittiness from his rider. He is 12.2 and 9 years old.
We would love to find Bruno a kid of his own and to add a new student to our program. Bruno is going to the NTHJC show in Tyler in October. Please message me for more details.

Skylar, Emery and Addy had fun at Prospering Farm today. Skylar and Prince tried jumpers for the first time, Addy and Ringo were reserve champion in future jumpers, Emery and Cindy Lou were champion in a very large short stirrup hunter division and Emery and DJ did fantastic in the canter cross rails!

ISO:

14.2-15.2 hh horse (preferably a gelding) for a student who is currently doing short stirrup.

This horse must have:
* AUTO lead changes
* good manners
* easy to catch
* ability to go up to at least 2’3”
* no major quirks or weird behaviors

This horse should NOT:
* be unable to take a joke / be green
* need to be lunged excessively or at shows (it will be ridden consistently, and in a program)
* be unable to live out or be on grass
* be at death’s door
* be downhill built
* have a cranky attitude
* does not need to be WEC or pony finals quality but I also don’t want a mustang or a QH

Looking at 6-14 years old preferably, some maintenance ok. Purchase mid 5’s. The closer to Texas the better! Please don’t say “PM me.” I won’t. You PM me if you have something you want me to look at. And if you’re going to PM please send video and price right off the bat.

Picture for kid reference.

I am in desperate need of a quality farrier who will respond to my texts, be consistent and not want to drug my horses. Please send me your recommendations.

Is there an ex-student of mine or someone I know well who would be interested in coming to ride my clients horses for a few weeks while my regular trainer cannot? Please reach out. Someone who is currently riding/in shape - rides include two WB’s, one large pony QH, one large pony paint mare and one medium Welsh pony. At least once per week preferably twice, weekday mornings - preferably Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays.
