Our teachers know the job doesnā€™t stop when the school day ends! Between teaching, planning, grading, and all the little extras, our amazing staff works around the clock to make a difference for our students.

So, in true Dolly Parton style, weā€™re taking a little time to enjoy some sweet treats because **hardworking teachers deserve a little sweetness, too!

Mrs. Rielandā€™s third graders were putting their rounding skills to work with a hands-on measurement activity! They measured, estimated, rounded, and checked their thinkingā€”all while making math a little more interactive.

Who says math has to stay in a workbook? Our third graders are measuring their way to stronger math skills!

The Handwriting Fairies made a special stop at PPES! šŸ§šā€ā™€ļøāœļøšŸ’–

Fairy Sparkle Lott & Fairy Glitter Kincaid sprinkled a little āœØMAGICāœØ into our 1st grade classrooms while teaching our students all about proper pencil grip, posture, and making their handwriting SHINE! āœļø

ā€¦and yes, there may have even been a little glitter involved. šŸ˜‰āœØ

Our first graders were absolute fairy stars and did such a great job learning how to slow down, use their handwriting strategies, and take pride in their work! šŸŒŸ

Grandparents, Books & Bearcat Memories!

What a special week at Pilot Point Elementary!

We loved welcoming our grandparents and special guests to campus for Grandparents Day! From sweet smiles and hugs to sharing special moments together, our students were so excited to have their loved ones join them.

And our Book Fair made the week even more exciting! Our students had so much fun browsing, choosing new books, and finding stories to take home and enjoy.

Thank you to all of our grandparents, families, and volunteers who helped make these events so special for our Bearcats! We are so thankful for the memories made this week.

Important Visitor Reminder
For the safety and security of all of our students and staff, all parents, guardians, and visitors are required to bring a valid photo ID when coming to the building ā€” every time.
Please be sure to have your ID with you when you visit campus. There may be times when different staff members are working in the front office, so even if you have shown your ID on a previous visit, you may be asked to show it again. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
Having your ID ready helps us keep our check-in/sign-out process running smoothly while maintaining a safe environment for our Bearcats.

Hands-on learning helps our students SEE how numbers growā€”and these kiddos were up for the challenge!
