✨️ Meet our new addition! 😎

He. is. phenomenal! Lucky us!💙

Hi! I’m David, and I’m currently an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher in my 10th year in education. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach several grade levels and subjects, and I enjoy helping students build their skills and confidence in the classroom.

Outside of teaching, music has always been a big part of my life. I’ve served as a pianist at my church for 26 years and enjoy working with choirs and other musicians. I’m looking forward to working with the students at Live, Laugh, Learn!

I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both Stokes and Forsyth County, with the first half of my career focused on grades K–3 and the second half teaching 6th grade math. For much of my 28-year career, I’ve taught students with learning disabilities in an inclusive setting. I’m so happy to be a part of the Live, Laugh and Learn family!"

🥹 Tonight my heart is overflowing with love and gratitude 🩷

Some of you know why, some will know soon...

It’s like I’m turning around, just tonight, and seeing this entire community right there behind me, around the children at the center.

Something happened that forced me to open my eyes to it, and I’m full of gratitude for all of you — families bonding together, building something strong for your children within our walls.

I’ve been dreaming about this place, pouring love, time, and energy into it for a long time, and tonight it just blew on my heart.

The center is the center because of you ❤️

We often look for words to describe ourselves.

We’re not a daycare.
We’re not a usual preschool.
(We already have wonderful ones of those in Pilot...)

We’re just us.

That new little place for kids, where a community is blooming day by day. 🌱🩷
