Another beautiful addition to PMES!

We are so excited to show off this amazing mural created by one of our very own former Pirates! It's even more special to have a former student return and leave her mark on the school in such a beautiful way.

A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for funding this project and continuing to help make PMES a bright, welcoming, and special place for our students and staff!

Good evening, Pirate Families! This is your principal, Martha Arrington, calling with information for this week.

📅 Monday is Day 3 in our specials rotation.

📚 Students in Kindergarten–5th grade will complete their Beginning-of-Year DIBELS reading assessment this week.

🍎 Half of our Pre-K students will begin on Wednesday, and the other half will begin on Thursday. All Pre-K students will attend together beginning Friday. We are excited to welcome our littlest Pirates!.

✏️ On Wednesday, our 3rd-grade students will take the Beginning-of-Grade (BOG) assessment. Please make sure your child is well-rested and arrives at school on time.

The Pirate Pantry will be open Monday morning, August 24th, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

We will have food, clothing, hygiene products, laundry supplies, household essentials, and more available for families in need.

Our Loads of Love program provides a wide variety of items that go beyond what we’ve been able to offer through the traditional backpack program.

Upon arrival, parents/guardians should check in at the front office, where staff will then direct you to the Loads of Love room.

🏫 Before- and after-school daycare begins on Monday. Your child must be registered before attending. If you need a registration form, please stop by the front office to pick one up.

📚 On Monday, parents of 3rd-grade students are invited to a Read to Achieve information session. The session will begin at 6:00 PM.
