The Pillager Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is a group of volunteers supporting our teachers What is a PTO?:
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.

It is an organization that is set up as a non profit and is independent from the school. A board of directors consisting of parents, grandparents and teachers select events and programs to sponsor during the year. Members consist of parents, grandparents and teachers who provide ideas, volunteer at events and participate at board meetings. Every school's PTO has a slightly different focus, but they all share the same desire to help teachers and the school be a great place for students and families. Purpose of the Pillager Elementary PTO:
Some PTOs may do heavy fundraising to pay for new playground equipment or school supplies. The Pillager Elementary PTO focuses more on family events and getting parents involved in the classroom and school. We do raise some money to go back into the classroom but it is not our main focus. The Pillager Elementary PTO was founded:
1. To support and partner with teachers and the school.
2. To encourage parents to participate in the classroom.
3. To be the voice of parents to administration.

We helped bring the SPIRIT to our Huskies on Friday for Homecoming! 🐾✨

And we definitely left our mark… in glitter! 🤩✨

We loved seeing so many students, families, and community members showing off their Husky pride. ❤️💛

Exciting news! PTO clothing orders will be coming home with your students TODAY! 🐾🐾

If there are any mistakes, misprints or missing items please reach out directly to Old 10 Apparel in Staples, (218) 895-5220.

If you ordered an UNRL item, they forgot they were also going to stitch the patches on for a little extra security. If you would like your patch stitched- please return your item (in a bag labeled with your name and child’s teacher) on Monday so Ms. Ivers can take them back to be stitched (it would only take 1 day).

Drumroll…….The winning class from Pizza Ranch last night was…..Ms. Ivers’ class! Ms. Ivers’ students will each receive a free glitter tattoo on Homecoming!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support not just the PTO, but the Ed Foundation today! It was a great turnout and so much fun was had! Huge shoutout to our awesome parent volunteers, and even some of the volleyball girls for helping run the PTO games!

Today, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTO was happy to provide breakfast for all of our amazing elementary staff and bus drivers!

It takes an incredible team to support our students each day, and we are so grateful for the teachers, paras, office staff, custodians, kitchen staff, nurses, bus drivers, and everyone who helps make our school community so special.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our families and supporters, your generosity allows us to give back to the people who care for our kids every single day. Because of your support, we’re able to support them!
