University of Pikeville Music Program

Dear Students and Community Members,
After six years of wonderful music making and growth in Pikeville, the Rutherford's have made the difficult decision to move back to the state of Washington for some exciting new professional opportunities. They have stewarded amazing growth during their time at Upike. Their efforts moved the program from a non existence position on campus to a thriving part of student life and serving the greater community as a whole. They both hope for the continued success of the music program and the larger music making community.

" We love our students and will miss them dearly. Making music in the mountains has been one of the most profound experiences of our careers. Thank you to all of our students both present and graduated. Thank you to the wonderful faculty and staff we have had the privilege to get to know and work with during our tenure. We are here for you, come visit us in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We will think of you and hope for your continued success."
