We kicked off our annual PTO fundraiser today with SLIME! 🟢😂 Our school’s top sellers from last year’s fundraiser earned the ultimate reward—the chance to slime our Principal, Mrs. Adkins; Vice Principal, Mrs. Potter; and Superintendent, Mr. Trimble!
Needless to say, we made a BIG mess and had an even BIGGER time! 🙌
A huge thank-you to our administration for being such good sports, and an extra-special shoutout to the students who worked so hard during last year’s fundraiser. You earned this!
Now it’s time to make this year’s fundraiser the BEST ONE YET! 💚🎉
Let’s get fundraising, Panthers! 🐾

A huge thanks to Amanda Hartsock for hosting our first volunteer training this year! We also appreciate all of our parents for giving up time to support our students and school.
If you missed the first training, you have one more chance to become a volunteer for the 2026–2027 school year! We will host one one more training on Thursday, August 27th, at 5:30 pm.
This training is open to parents, grandparents, family members, and anyone in our community who would like to volunteer in our schools.
Your time, support, and presence make a difference for our Little Panthers. We would love to have you as part of our volunteer team!

Good afternoon Panther Family! As you may or may not be aware, one of our neighboring districts sadly lost a student and classmate earlier this week. In remembering and honoring the life of Carissa, a student at Johnson County Middle School, their school system will be wearing pink on Monday, August 17th. In support of her family, the students, faculty, staff and families of their school district, we will have Pink Day across Pikeville Independent Schools on Monday as well. We encourage our students, staff, families and community to join us in wearing your pink in memory of Carissa.
We continue to be in prayer for her family, friends, classmates, educators, and all others who hurt as a result of such a great loss. We hope you have a safe and blessed evening!

What a fantastic first week of school for our Panthers! 🐾 🎉 Our students have had a wonderful time getting to know their teachers, making new friends, and settling into the new school year.
We’ve seen so many smiles, lots of laughter, and plenty of excitement throughout the past couple of days. We’re off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
SO thankful for the Pikeville Fire Department and our UPike Bears for making these mornings extra special! 🐻 👨🚒
Here’s to a wonderful school year, Panthers! 📚✨🐾

As a proud PHS graduate, Mr. Robinson knows our school community well and has already made a positive impact. Last year, he served as a Math Interventionist through UNITE at PES, building wonderful relationships with both students and staff. He is currently working toward a teaching certificate in Special Education and brings a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow. He is an amazing role model, has an excellent rapport with students and staff, and is always willing to go the extra mile to support our school community.
You may also recognize Mr. Robinson from several other roles within our district—PHS Golf Coach and PHS Volleyball Coach. He is currently getting his certification to be one of our amazing bus drivers! We are so fortunate to have someone who is already so invested in our students and our school joining our Special Education team. Welcome home, Mr. Robinson! We are SO excited to have you join our Panther Family!
