Welcome to KYCO to the class of 2029 and to the fall semester everyone! We've got two events for you this week:

**First off, we have our info meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th at lunch. Pizza will be provided and it will be in room 205. We will be discussing what the club is about, upcoming events, how to become a member, and E-Board Positions. We will be raffling off an Oakley backpack for those who pay dues at the meeting along with a few other prizes! **

**Also, we are having our 3rd annual PPC Potluck in the Park on Friday, August 29th at 6:00 pm. This event will be in the pavilion at the city park downtown. Everyone please bring a dish or dessert to pass! This is a great time to socialize and decompress after the first week back and is a great time for first years to ask questions in a quieter setting! Spouses, kids, and significant others are welcome to join! **

Our outgoing president and president elect had a wonderful time networking with other optometry school PPC members this weekend at the SOLutioN conference this past week in Houston. (Plus they got to meet up with the past president )

On Friday, March 28th we will welcome Dr. Munsa Rana for a Q&A type meeting! She would love to talk about private practice and things that she wished she knew before she graduated optometry school! This will be a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of private practice from a practice owner!

We will be hosting Midwest Eye Consultants & Dr. Matt Frieden who will be discussing private practice and what he wished he had known before starting out! Plus we plan to cater Made to Crave!

Our President and Treasurer enjoyed manning our booth at the club fair yesterday to bring PPC to KYCO’s incoming Class of 2028! We’re so excited for our new club members!
