The University of Pikeville community mourns the passing of beloved Faculty Emeritus of Psychology, John Howie, Ph.D. For more than 30 years, Dr. Howie dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring students while becoming an unforgettable presence on campus.
His legacy lives on in the countless students, faculty and staff whose lives were touched by his distinctive personality and unique spirit. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A memorial and celebration of life service will be held in Chrisman Auditorium on July 25.
