The Brick Mobile is coming back to Pike County libraries this summer with a hundred thousand LEGO® bricks!

This program for Lego enthusiasts has two components: the first 45 minutes will consist of a Tower Tumbler guided build with a Master Builder for ages 4 and up, which teaches basic architecture design and tower building skills. Then it’s Open Build, with thousands of bricks, a race car ramp with chassis library, and the Tower Tumbler table.

Stop by the Pike County Public Library and snap a photo at our Father’s Day Selfie Station! Grab a prop, strike a pose, and make a fun memory with Dad.

It’ll be here throughout the month of June!

On June 16 & 17, the library will be transformed into a mini museum with real dinosaur fossils and hands-on science experiments at the Dino Lab! Young paleontologists will touch a real dinosaur egg, a Spinosaurus tooth, a Triceratops tooth, and fossilized dinosaur p**p. Kids will also discover why the dinosaurs might have gone extinct as we launch a meteorite with a flash. We’ll also float a giant bag filled with “dino breath” above our heads to better understand the average length of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

This program will be held at the following locations:

Elkhorn City Public Library – June 16 at 12:30
Vesta Roberts Johnson Memorial Library – June 16 at 3:00
Pike County Public Library – June 16 at 5:00
Phelps Public Library – June 17 at 1:00
Belfry Public Library – June 17 at 4:00

No registration required.
