NFH Aviation is excited to help host the 2026 Aviation Summer Camp at the Pikeville/Pike County Airport presented by the Kentucky Aerospace Education Center and the Aviation Museum of Kentucky.

This camp is a hands-on introduction to aviation and aviation careers.

Participants will take part in activities covering aeronautics, navigation, flight simulation, and weather permitting, flight time in an airplane!

The camp will take place June 29–30, 2026, at the Pikeville/Pike County Airport. The cost is $209 per person.

Congratulations to Parker Hutchens on passing his Private Pilot checkride!

If you don’t know NFH Aviation, we are a very family and faith oriented business, and Parker is a huge part of the NFH family as both our mechanic, brother and now a private pilot. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, humor and heart he brings every single day.

Ivy Young passed her Commercial checkride today.

Ivy is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. She shows up early and she’s usually the last one to leave.

She’s done everything around here, cleaning airplanes, fueling, running parts, picking up engines in the middle of nowhere in my pickup truck, office manager, social media coordinator, and fun director:) Whatever needs done, she’s there.

If I need something handled, I call Ivy Young.

She’s also built a lot of real experience in a short amount of time, everything from Premier jets and King Airs to SR22s and everything in between. She’s a very well rounded pilot, and I’m proud to see where she’s headed.

She’ll be flying corporate trips and working on her flight instructor license next.

We’re all very proud of Ivy and excited to see what’s next.
