Bus announcement for 9/23/2026: Bus 14 will double-routed in the morning. Cody is dropping his students off early, then running Bus 14 route (this includes St. Rt. 220, River Road, Meadow Run, Curtis Ln, Innovation Pkwy, Hamman Church Rd, Marcus Run Rd, Pearson Ln, Wadsworth, Zahn's Corner and Zahn's St).

Picture Make-Up Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning will be Picture Make-Up Day at Piketon Jr./Sr. High School! Our first priority is making sure students who did not have their picture taken at the beginning of the school year have an opportunity to do so.

CTC & Full-Time CCP Students - 7:45–8:15 AM
Piketon CTC students who still need a picture should report to the PHS Auditorium before going to the CTC. We will hold the CTC buses until pictures are completed and send students as soon as they are finished. We expect this process to move quickly. Full-time CCP students who still need a picture may also come during this time.

Grades 6–12 - Beginning at 8:20 AM
Our next priority will be Piketon Jr./Sr. High School students in grades 6–12 who did not have their picture taken earlier this year. Students will be called down by grade-level groups.

Retakes
After all students needing an original picture have been taken care of, we anticipate having a short period available for students who would like a retake. An announcement will be made at that time.

A Note for Seniors & CTC Families
All Piketon seniors will be photographed for the yearbook on Graduation Day.

The CTC is currently in discussions with Jostens regarding its photography arrangements. Once those plans are finalized, we will work with the CTC and its selected photographer to make sure we obtain pictures of our Piketon students for our records and yearbook if anyone missed our original Picture Day or isn't able to make it tomrrow.

Our goal is simple: we want to make sure every Redstreak is represented in the yearbook!

ONE DISTRICT. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE REDSTREAK FAMILY.

What a way to kick off Homecoming Friday!

Today we held a Redstreak Walking Pep Rally and the energy throughout our district was incredible! Our band, cheerleaders, and football players took Redstreak spirit on the road making their way through the halls of Jasper Elementary, Piketon Middle School, and Piketon Jr/Sr High School.

Students and staff lined the hallways at each stop, cheering, clapping, and showing their Redstreak pride as we celebrated together and sent our football team into tonight’s Homecoming game with the support of the entire district behind them.

Today was about more than football. It was an opportunity for students of all ages to celebrate together and experience what it means to be part of the Redstreak family. From our youngest students at Jasper to our seniors at Piketon High School, the pride and excitement were felt throughout the district!

A special thank you to Mr. Robbie Taylor and the Jasper Elementary staff, Mrs. Jessica Brust and the Piketon Middle School staff, Mrs. Tracey Lamerson and the Piketon Junior High School staff, and the staff at Piketon High School for joining in the celebration and helping make our Walking Pep Rally such a success.

Thank you as well to Head Football Coach Tyler Gullion, Band Director Jackson Barnes, and Cheerleading Advisor Melody Moore for their work with our students and for helping bring today’s celebration together.

And a special thanks to Mrs. Krista Lamerson and the bus drivers today for handling all of the logistics to make this idea a reality.

Now let’s keep that Redstreak energy going tonight! Come out, wear your red and gray, and cheer on the Redstreaks as they take on the Huntington Huntsmen in our 2026 Homecoming Game! Also, tonight is Rockin’ Redstreaks Alumni Night so be ready for a halftime show where the past and present reunite for one night.

Bus 14 is going to be running approximately one hour late this morning. Bus 14 covers Zahns Corner, Curtis Lane, Millers Lane, Pearson Lane, Marcus Run, Meadow Run, River Rd, and 220.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT IN ACTION

A huge, Redstreak THANK YOU to the Adena Waverly Health Center for their incredibly generous donation of school supplies to our Piketon Junior High and High School students!

Team members from the Lab, Urgent Care, Registration and X-Ray departments came together to donate backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, and many other supplies that will go directly toward supporting our students.

We are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who care about our kids and are willing to step up to help meet their needs. Gestures like this are a wonderful reminder that supporting students truly is a community effort.

Thank you, Adena Waverly Health Center, for thinking of our Redstreaks and investing in our students! ❤️🩶
