On Friday, September 18, community organizations came together across southern Ohio to celebrate kindness in the local food community as Ohio State delivered shelf-stable meals in several counties, including Pike. Ohio State Extension coordinates the distribution of the assembled meals to local non-profit organizations in each county. Addressing food security year-round takes an entire community.
