CLASS OF 1963---50TH REUNION

Milford Mill High was the place
To graduation we all did race
June of ’63 was the big date
The rehearsal, the gowns, and then the wait
No more Messieurs Clopper and Sgro
Not even phys ed or homeroom to go
Now we’re ready to celebrate more
Fifty years since we walked out that door
College, career, family, and joy
So much to share and catch-up, oh boy!
We’re planning an evening to top it all
Recalling the great times in the lunchroom and hall
On the sports fields and on the stage
We’ll reminisce about whatever was the rage
Music, old chums and marvelous food
Ambiance and favors will capture the mood
Mark your calendar and send in your check
Buy new duds so you won’t look a wreck
Saturday, October 12th at 7 on the dot
The Suburban Club venue is the right spot
Bring your spouse or significant other
Anyone is welcome, even your brother
The cost is $75 for a rousing good time

Your check for $75 pp should be made out to MMHS ’63 Reunion and mailed to Debby Exler Langbaum at 36 Taverngreen Court, Baltimore, MD 21209. This is the EARLY BIRD cost. Please make sure this is postmarked by 7/31/13. Valet parking is included. Should you send in your check postmarked between 8/1 and 9/30, the cost is $85. Any monies received after that date or at the door (CASH ONLY) should be in the amount of $95. Include guest name. If you have any questions about this gala event, do not hesitate to contact Debby at [email protected]. We are still in need of many email and snail mail addresses of your former classmates. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The steering committee has been working hard to make this a weekend to remember and has planned additional activities for you to take part in…if you are interested. All events are listed below with contact information for further details.

TENNIS - Contact Nancy Poteet Williams at [email protected] for a Free Tennis Fun Day, Saturday afternoon at Suburban Club. They have excellent Har-Tru courts for vintage knees. RSVP Nancy by September 30.

GOLF - What better way to begin a reunion weekend than 9 holes of golf at $65 pp (includes cart) Saturday afternoon. Lenny Schloss will help coordinate this event at Suburban Club. RSVP Nancy Poteet Williams at [email protected] by September 30.

BRUNCH - We also want to end the weekend with a farewell brunch. Reservations are being made for 11 am on Sunday, October 13th at the newly renovated Mt. Washington Tavern. This, of course, is not included in the reunion fee, but would be a fantastic way to continue to chat with your old friends before going home. Debby is taking RSVP’s for the brunch at [email protected]. If making plane reservations, please plan accordingly.

MEMORABILIA TABLE - Finally, this last activity will be happening during the reunion, and you are invited to participate. We would like to have a table with a display of Milford Mill High memorabilia. What can you lend us? Do you have a sports letter? A prom favor? A school newspaper? (Some gals actually saved their prom dresses!) Whatever relic you have, we would love to display it for others to see. However, we need to know in advance what you are bringing, so that we know what size table to have. Please take a moment to look through your attic, basement, garage, etc. to find a MMHS treasure. Let us know what you will be bringing to the reunion and we will make space for you. Contact Debby at [email protected].

In just a few short months we will all be together celebrating a lifetime of memories! Please put October 12th on your calendar and mail your check to Debby today. We guarantee there will be people you haven’t seen for decades, delicious food, great music and a wonderful weekend to reminisce.

A mailing has just gone out to everyone that we had an email address for. If you did not get this mailing then that means we don't have your email address.
