🍕☀️ Back to School Pizza Picnic! ☀️🍕

What a wonderful way to kick off another school year together! Last night, our playground was filled with pizza, popsicles, familiar faces, new friends, and lots of E.B. Hirsh community fun. 💙

It was definitely a HOT one, but thankfully, plenty of popsicles helped keep us cool!

A special thank you to Rabbi Busch, Rabbi Glaser, Julie Wohl, and our Preschool Connector, Jessica, for joining us and sharing their support and well wishes for a happy and successful school year ahead. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community cheering on our children, families, and teachers!

🔬🧪 Science Everywhere was in full swing today! What a blast we had exploring the wonders of science with an exciting live science show. Our campers discovered the fascinating world of solids, liquids, and gases, watched the magic of dry ice in action, and were amazed by hands-on experiments that had everyone saying, “WOW!”

There’s nothing better than seeing curious minds light up with excitement as learning comes to life. We can’t wait to see what the rest of Science Everywhere week has in store! 💙✨

🐞 What a bug-tastic day at E.B. Hirsh Early Childhood Center! 🕷️

Today we welcomed the University of Maryland Department of Entomology’s Insect Zoo for an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! Mr. Todd introduced us to an amazing variety of fascinating creatures, including different types of mantises, millipedes, roaches, a scorpion, and even a tarantula! 🦂🕸️

Our friends explored with curiosity and courage as they observed, touched, and even held some of these incredible creatures. Experiences like these help children build confidence, ask questions, and discover that learning happens best when they can see, touch, and explore the world around them.

A big thank you to Mr. Todd and the Insect Zoo for bringing science to life in such a fun and memorable way! 💚🐜
