While Fit Learning shares key features with Orton-Gillingham (explicit, systematic, multisensory instruction), it is not based on the OG framework. Instead, Fit Learning falls under the broader, evidence-based category of structured literacy. This is the same standard recommended by the International Dyslexia Association and most state dyslexia guidelines, including California's.
