Sometimes it takes a few weeks for a school year to show us what’s really working and what isn’t.

If your child is struggling in their current school, you don’t necessarily have to wait until next year to consider a change. At Oliverian, rolling admissions means there may be an opportunity to find a better fit when your student needs it.

High school should be a time to learn, grow, connect, and enjoy being a teenager. It doesn’t have to feel this tough.

Meet Ethan, one of our Clifford Dorm Parents.

Ethan brings seven years of experience working with students in different settings, most recently as a paraprofessional with the Merrimack School District, where he provided one-on-one academic, behavioral, and emotional support.

He also brings a genuinely fun mix of interests and experience. Ethan has taught trombone and other brass instruments to students of all ages, has a background in culinary education, and does improv.

In a residential setting, those interests can become natural ways to connect with students, whether that's through music, cooking, humor, or simply finding something to talk about.

Ethan is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Education at Rivier University.

We're glad to have him as part of the Oliverian community.

Meet Chris, one of our Mathematics teachers.

Chris brings extensive experience as a certified educator, having taught in public schools, tribal schools, residential treatment settings, and international schools. He has worked with students across a wide range of academic and learning support needs, and most recently served as a Mathematics Curriculum Writer and Content Development Consultant with APass Education Group.

He's also an author. His book, Voices of Malian Women, gathers stories and perspectives from women in Mali that rarely make it into print.

A math teacher who has taught in that many settings has seen a lot of different students arrive at the same problem from different directions. That perspective can make a meaningful difference in the classroom.

We're glad to have Chris as part of the Oliverian community.
