🔴⚪️🔵 CK WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS 🔴⚪️🔵

Our CK Patriots had another BIG week of Kindergarten learning! 🥰📚 We celebrated completing i-Ready testing with popsicles 🍧 and were SO excited to watch The Patriot Update! 🎥❤️ And guess what?! This whole alphabet thing is starting to make sense! 😉🔤

Our learners worked with heart words, high-frequency words, positional concepts, poetry journals, name work, shape games, and partner reading with decodables. 📖✏️ We grooved while sorting shapes 🎶, enjoyed a fun shape snack sort, and put our brains and hands to work building puzzles while practicing cooperation, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving! 🧩

There was plenty of time for PLAY, too! We explored the sand, enjoyed indoor recess, and even took a little time to watch the tractors hard at work building the new road to our school! 🚜👀

Kindergarten…where reading, writing, rhyming, creating, learning, and playing are ALL part of a day’s work! These big kids are doing BIG learning, and we love watching it all come together! 🔴⚪️🔵

🔴⚪️🔵 C3 WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS 🔴⚪️🔵

Our C3 Patriots had another week filled with learning, growing, celebrating, and making memories! ❤️💙 As the seniors of our elementary campus, they are working hard and showing us what it means to lead the Patriot way!

This week, our learners put their math brains to work during math stations and strengthened their problem-solving skills with plenty of word problem practice. ➕🧠 They also spent time building their literacy skills through meaningful reading and writing notebook work. 📚✏️ And because learning is always better with a little celebrating mixed in, we made time for some special birthday celebrations too! 🥳🎂

The Patriot fun even continued outside of the classroom when some of our learners spotted Mrs. Byrd at the football game! 🏈❤️ We love seeing our Patriots supporting one another both inside and outside of school!

🔴⚪️🔵 C2 WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS 🔴⚪️🔵

Our C2 Patriots had another great week filled with learning, laughter, and lots of Patriot fun! ❤️💙

One of the highlights of the week was watching the very first episode of The Patriot Update 🎥🎉—our learners loved seeing what’s happening around PRES! They also put their thinking skills to work during math stations ➕🔢 and stayed busy learning, creating, and collaborating in the classroom. 📚✏️

Of course, there’s always something worth celebrating in C2! 🥳🎂 We loved taking time to celebrate our birthday Patriots and make them feel extra special!

Second grade is looking good on these Patriots! From stations to celebrations, our C2 learners are working hard, making memories, and having fun along the way! 🔴⚪️🔵

🔴⚪️🔵 C1 WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS 🔴⚪️🔵

Our C1 Patriots were learning, creating, and growing all week long! ❤️📚 First grade is in full swing, and these learners are showing us just how much BIG learning happens upstairs! 🥰

This week, our learners stayed busy during math centers, where they practiced addition using the count-on strategy and strengthened their number sense through hands-on learning. ➕🔢 They also let their creativity shine while making self-portraits 🎨🖍️ and exploring different creative stations where imagination and learning went hand in hand!

From solving math problems to creating masterpieces, our first graders are building confidence, independence, and a love for learning one day at a time! ❤️💙
