Hey everyone! I wanted to give an update on the 20 year reunion.
Due to the current COVID-19 environment, we plan to keep the reunion more low key, if you will. The plan is to follow up our 20 year with a 25 year, which will be a bigger event and with zero COVID-19 restrictions, hopefully. We hope for full participation during the 20 reunion, but we anticipate many people opting to not participate due to COVID-19.
Hers is what we know so far:
Who: classmates of Piggott High School 2000 and their plus one.
What: 20 year reunion for class of 2000
When: Saturday, 24OCT2020
Where: the legion in Campbell, MO
Why: celebrate 20 years of life after High School
How: good conversation, a steak dinner and beverages.
Timeline (Tentative):
5:00 pm - arrival time to legion
5:01 - 6:00 social hour (mingle and catch up with class mates)
6:00 - 8:00 dinner is served
8:01 - 11:00 after party
Myself, aaron, Deb, Daniel or Cole will meet with the staff at the legion to coordinate a dining room and work a menu if needed. At this time we fully anticipate each individual will order off the menu that the legion currently has.
Each individual will pay for their meal and beverages. As mentioned above, we are planning a 25 year reunion where most of the budget will be covered by the class budget, opposed to the individual covering costs. Donation during the 20 year reunion are greatly appreciated and will directly contribute to the 25 year reunion.
Invitations will soon go out in order to get a head count on how many are actually attending.
I hope to see everyone there. I have learned the painful way that life is to short, and I hope to catch up with every single one of you.
