🎉🐯 ROCK YOUR SCHOOL RECAP: OUR INTERVENTIONISTS & SPECIAL AREA TEACHERS! 🐯🎉

We’re wrapping up our Rock Your School Week with a BIG shoutout to the incredible interventionists and special area teachers who helped make this day one to remember! ❤️

From tailgating 🏈 to under the sea 🌊, a little Shrek magic 💚, and ALL the holiday cheer 🎃🎄🎅, these teachers brought creativity, energy, and FUN to every corner of PFI! ✨

The themes were amazing, the activities were engaging, and the memories made were priceless! But what stood out most was the incredible classroom management, intentional planning, and meaningful learning happening throughout the fun. These teachers showed that you can create magical experiences for students while keeping learning purposeful and expectations HIGH! 👏🏼

At PFI, Rock Your School is about more than a theme or a fun day. It’s about creating those unforgettable moments that make it all the way to the dinner table and remind our students just how exciting learning can be! 🥰

A HUGE thank-you to all of our interventionists and special area teachers for going above and beyond to make this day so special. You ROCKED it! 🎸🧡

And with that, we’re officially wrapping up Rock Your School Week! What an incredible week of creativity, collaboration, and memories for our Tigers! 🐯✨

This is what happens when we work BETTER TOGETHER!

Yesterday, the principals from Pigeon Forge City Schools had the privilege of attending the Legacy Leaders Fireside Chat hosted by Leadership Sevier — and this month’s guest was someone who holds a very special place in the story of Pigeon Forge City Schools: former Director of Schools, Mrs. Stephanie Huskey.

Director Huskey shared a moving and inspiring session filled with stories, lessons, and reflections from her years of leadership. We left reminded of just how much her leadership has impacted our schools, our students, our staff, and our community.

Each of us has benefited in some way from Dr. Huskey’s leadership, and we are incredibly grateful for the foundation she helped build and the example she continues to set. Her passion for education, commitment to Pigeon Forge, and the people-first leadership she modeled have left a lasting legacy.

As she moves into this next chapter in retirement, we wish Dr. Huskey nothing but the very best! Thank you for your years of service, your wisdom, and the lasting impact you have made on Pigeon Forge City Schools. We are proud to have learned from you and even prouder to continue the work you helped shape. 🧡🐯

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ PFI CROSS COUNTRY! 🐯

We’re still celebrating our incredible athletes from last week’s countywide cross country meet! These students worked SO hard, pushed themselves, encouraged one another, and represented PFI with so much pride! 👏🏼🔥

A huge SHOUTOUT to Coach Owenby and Coach Ogle for preparing this group so well and, even more importantly, for inspiring them to work hard, keep going, and believe in what they can accomplish. 💪🏼

We are so proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and determination these athletes showed! They may have crossed the finish line, but the character, perseverance, and work ethic they demonstrated along the way are the real wins. 🏅❤️

Way to make us proud, Tigers! 🐯

🔥🏕️ ROCK YOUR SCHOOL DAY RECAP: 6TH GRADE! 🏕️🔥

Our 6th grade team took Rock Your School Day to the wild side with a full-on SURVIVOR theme! 🏝️

Students faced all kinds of challenges throughout the day—some academic, some physical, and ALL fun! 💪🧠 From teamwork and problem-solving to friendly competition and plenty of laughs, our 6th graders were challenged to think, move, collaborate, and persevere.

And isn’t that what we love most about days like this? ❤️ Creating experiences that make students forget they’re “just at school” and instead give them memories they’ll be talking about around the dinner table!

Our 6th grade team proved that learning can be challenging, competitive, collaborative, and FUN all at the same time! 🔥

Way to SURVIVE & THRIVE, 6th grade! You ROCKED it! 🐯🏝️💪

🍎✨ Happy Instructional Coach Appreciation Day to Dr. Lisa Ashmeade! ✨🍎

Dr. Ashmeade brings a plethora of experience, knowledge, and wisdom to our teachers at PFI—and honestly, she does SO much more than her title could ever capture! From supporting instruction and collaborating with teachers to jumping in wherever she is needed, she is an invaluable part of our school family. ❤️

And many of you outside of PFI probably recognize her from afternoon car line! 😂 She is one of those people who can somehow be everywhere, doing everything, and making it all look easy!

We are incredibly thankful for the encouragement, expertise, and heart Dr. Ashmeade brings to PFI every single day. Join us in giving her a HUGE PFI shoutout today! 🎉🐯

We appreciate you, Dr. Ashmeade!
