💻 Parent Portal Reminder
Please complete and update your Back-to-School Forms in Parent Portal, especially the 1:1 Device Acknowledgement. Students cannot be issued a school laptop until this acknowledgment has been completed.

👕 Dress Code & Student ID Reminder
Students are expected to follow the district dress code each day and must wear their school-issued ID visibly at all times while on campus. Please help us ensure students arrive dressed for success and ready to learn. No hats are permitted inside school buildings.

📝 PM1 Testing This Week
Modified testing bell schedules will be in effect on Tuesday and Thursday.

✅ Tuesday: ELA PM1 for Grades 6-10
✅ Thursday: Math PM1 for Grades 6-8

As we continue another great school year at Taylor Middle-High School, thank you for partnering with us to create a safe, positive, and focused learning environment for all students.

To support student success and campus safety, we will continue to consistently enforce School Board expectations regarding dress code and student ID badges. These expectations help minimize disruptions, maximize instructional time, and ensure every student is ready to learn.

✅ Before your student leaves home each morning, please remember:
✔️ Wear school-appropriate clothing that follows School Board dress code guidelines.
✔️ Shirts and tops must provide full coverage and may not expose undergarments, the midriff, or back.
✔️ Clothing displaying alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited content is not permitted.
✔️ Hats are not permitted inside school buildings or classrooms.
✔️ Wear your school ID badge and keep it visible throughout the school day.
✔️ Come to school prepared to learn, participate, and succeed.

Our staff is committed to applying these expectations fairly and consistently. Together, we can reduce classroom interruptions, increase learning time, and continue building a school culture where every student thrives.

💻 Parent Portal Reminder
Please log in to the Parent Portal and complete all Back-to-School Forms, including the 1:1 Device Acknowledgment Form. Students cannot receive their school-issued laptop until this form is completed. While you're there, please consider purchasing device insurance to help protect your student's technology investment.

🐾 What a Great First Day, Wildcats! 🐾

Today was an outstanding start to the 2026-2027 school year! Our students and staff brought tremendous energy to campus, and we are excited for all that this year will bring. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first day a success.

As we head into Day 2 tomorrow, please remember:
✅ Student IDs must be worn and visible at all times. Students must show ID to enter campus and classrooms.
✅ Dress for success and be in dress code. Dress code referrals will begin tomorrow for violations -- Remember No hats/hoodies on inside buildings.
✅ High school students who wish to leave campus for lunch must purchase a lunch pass before lunch tomorrow. Discipline referrals will begin tomorrow for students leaving campus without a valid lunch pass.

And don't forget to come out and support our Wildcats this week! 🏐🏈
