The reality is they don't want to ban everyone from having a gun just law abiding citizens from having them.

In the midst of a chaotic shooting spree inside a mall, 19-year-old Martinez Long pulled his own fi***rm and shot the gunman.

Now he faces two years of probation and a criminal record. Why?

He was too young to legally possess a carry permit, so they threw him in jail.

The judge even bizarrely asked, “What do you need a gun for protection in a mall in the first place?”
..after he stopped a gunman with his.

This is the idiocy of banning fi***rms for those under 21, and of the entire concept of carry permits in general.

Potentially many more people could have died if Martinez had not stepped in, and for his actions, he is being punished.
