Online Student Registration and Activity Registration is open for parents and guardians of students currently enrolled in the Pierre School District, as well as those wishing to enroll their children in the district for the upcoming school year. Thank you to our teaching staff for wrapping our students in their care! A fuzzy blanket seemed like the perfect comfort gift to “wrap up” the school year.

We are so appreciative of all the hours poured into our kids: the special care when there are circumstances that our children need a little more love, the encouragement throughout testing, and the day to day time spent making learning fun. Thank you teachers, for all you are, give, and do! 💚

🍎 Teacher appreciation week is next week! This is a wonderful way to wrap up our school year and thank our caring, hard working staff members for all they do for our students.

📝 Please have your child write their teachers (current and former if they’d like) a thank you note. It can be a letter or short & sweet! Notes from parents are appreciated too. If you don’t get it to them by Tuesday, that’s okay. Just send it in when you can, this time of year is so busy!

🎁 If you’d like to give your child’s teacher flowers/a gift card/a gift, this is a perfect week to do so. PTO will also be spoiling our teachers!

The 3rd graders had an ice cream party for winning the Dakotamart receipt contest! They enjoyed dilly bars on our extra hot & windy day. 😎
We are so grateful to Dakotamart for offering this program to get money back from receipts, Mrs. Pfeifer for doing all the counting & tallying, Jen at the Pierre Dairy Queen for the deal on the dilly bars, and our third grade families & staff for collecting so many! 🧾
My kindergartener claimed favoritism when his big brother’s class won, but when you have 3 boys in one school, chances are high the winning class will be one of them! 😂

We had so much fun at Family Prom last night! We raised over $3,000 for our inclusive playground! Thank you to all who attended, invited a friend, donated, volunteered, helped plan, or purchased goodies from the silent auction. It’s such an awesome event that we look forward to every year.
