Greyson’s Events & Entertainment is looking for businesses willing to help sponsor the brand-new Assumption High School Mustangs football tunnel!

The tunnel is already in production, and every donation will help cover the cost of designing, building, and shipping it to the school.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic to join our team full time. This position is ideal for individuals with automotive mechanical experience.

Job duties will include but not limited to:

* Performing repairs as outlined on a repair order.
*Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
*Troubleshooting systems to locate the cause of problems.
*Removing and installing major components.
*Making minor adjustments and repairs.
*Performing preventive maintenance inspections.
*Completing documentation related to repairs.
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with other employees.
* Possess the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Requirements include being at least 21 years of age, having automotive mechanical experience, possessing a valid driver’s license, and passing a drug screen and background check.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM and Saturdays 8AM - 12PM

Pay will be based on experience.

🚨📢 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 🚨

We have some exciting news to share. We have secured a location on Highway 70! We will be moving! 🙌🏻🎉🎊

Over the last two years, we have quickly outgrown our current location. We were faced with a major decision of continuing to function at maximum capacity here with few options to expand, or move locations that would allow us the opportunity for that growth to happen. We did the best thing we could do. We bowed our heads, prayed, and surrendered it to the Lord. We prayed for the right doors to open and for God to make a way where there seemed to be no way, and WOW, did He show up and answer our prayers.

This wouldn’t be possible without God, our family, friends, and community who have supported us over the last two years. We thank each and every one of you who have given us a chance and allowed us to work on your vehicles, liked, shared, and commented on our posts, left a review when we’ve done work for you, and recommended us to others.

While we work out all of the fine details at the new property, we will continue to work out of our current location. We will update as things progress, and once we move to our new shop. While we will have a new location and new look, we will have the same name and offer the same great, quality, and dependable service to the same great community. We do plan to offer more services, but that announcement will come at a later date. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we make this transition, and again, THANK YOU for praying for us, trusting us, and believing in us! We appreciate your support!

Yesterday was Ethan’s last day working full time with us here at Ashworth Mechanical Services. Tomorrow, he heads off to college to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. He will be missed tremendously here at the shop.

Ethan, we appreciate your hard work and dedication over the summer. Your work ethic and desire to learn and grow your mechanical skills was truly inspiring. Your future is so bright, and we have no doubt you will continue to do great things. We are praying for you as you step into this next chapter of your life. Please know we will always have a spot open for you here at the shop.

Many people may not know this, but Chris Ashworth, Owner/CEO of Ashworth Mechanical Services in Pierre Part, worked on Transit Buses for seven years in Corpus Christi, TX. He’s very skilled and knowledgeable in these vehicles, including AC work, Electrical Systems, Lifts, and other mechanical issues. While working for that company, he also competed and was recognized locally, statewide, and nationwide with other mechanics in the Bus Roadeo.
If you know of a business who uses these types of vehicles (hospitals,churches,retirement homes, etc) or if you have a friend or family member with a motorhome, please share this post with them. We would love the opportunity to service their vehicles. Thank you!
