Our FFA Officer Team spent July 5–7 in Branson for our annual Officer Retreat! Over the course of three days, we worked together to plan for the upcoming year, set chapter goals, organize activities, and develop our Program of Activities.
The retreat gave us the opportunity to strengthen our leadership skills, grow as a team, and prepare for an exciting year ahead. We’re looking forward to putting our plans into action and creating opportunities for every member to get involved.
We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for our chapter. Here’s to a successful year of leadership, service, growth, and fun!

What an amazing week on our 2026 End-of-Year Trip! We had the opportunity to learn about agriculture, history, and the people who help keep these industries moving every day.

We kicked off the trip in Dodge City with a visit to the Boot Hill Museum. It was a great experience learning about the history of the city, how it was founded, and the individuals who helped build it into what it is today.

On day two, we toured Vulgamore Family Farms, a large-scale crop farming operation. It was impressive to see firsthand the equipment, technology, and hard work that go into producing crops on such a large scale. We also visited Brookover Feed Yard, where we met with the feedlot manager and learned about cattle management and the process of marketing cattle to packing facilities. Later, we stopped at Mies Trucking to learn about their important role in hauling milk for Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).

To wrap up the trip, we visited Reece Feed Yard and learned how cattle are sorted, marketed, and shipped to packing plants. We also had the chance to meet with a manager from the American Beef Battalion and hear about the incredible work they do providing steak meals to service members and veterans while supporting charitable causes.

A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us, shared their knowledge, and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at their operations. We had a great time, learned a lot, and made some unforgettable memories along the way! 🚜🐄🌾

What an incredible turnout at our Banquet on Sunday! Thank you to everyone who attended and showed support for our chapter. It was amazing to see so many people come together and enjoy the evening.

A huge thank you to our Booster Club for providing the delicious food and helping make the night such a success!

We also want to recognize and thank our retiring officers for their dedication, leadership, and service to the chapter. Your hard work has helped shape our chapter and created opportunities for future members to continue growing and improving.

Lastly, we want to wish Mr. Melin the very best in his future career. Thank you for the past six years of teaching, guidance, and support you have given our students and chapter. Your impact will not be forgotten!
