The OSSAA Distinguished Academic Achievement Award is a prestigious honor in Oklahoma recognizing high school teams and Fine Arts ensembles that maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA and rank in the top 10% of their classification. It honors excellence in both competition and academics.

We are proud to share with you that the Pride of Piedmont band program has again earned this award. Congratulations to our students for not only being 'Superior' on the field and on the concert stage but also for their excellence in the classroom!

Congratulations to the Piedmont Symphonic Band students, we are so proud of your hard work!

Yesterday at the OSSAA State Concert Band Competition, the Symphonic Band earned a superior rating on stage from all three judges and a 1,2,2 in sight reading for an excellent rating. Because of their superior rating on stage and from last fall's superior rating in marching band, they also earned an outstanding achievement award.
