Calling all community members, alumni, current staff and students! On Tuesday July 23, 2024 will be hosting our first ever “Wildcats Give Back” day where we are inviting volunteers to assist with several beautification projects that we will be completing outside on campus. We will start at 8:00 am and end our day at 12:00 pm. Anyone who would like to volunteer to assist can sign up on the volunteer form “Wildcats Give Back," from the link below. Bring a lawn chair and a refillable water bottle. We will also provide lunch for all volunteers beginning at 12:00 PM. Please be sure to sign up, so we know how many to volunteers to plan for.

Wow! We are excited to announce our new officers for the 2024-2025 year. We had a standout group of kids show out for interviews. We are looking forward to next year!

Woodmont FFA received the Silver Chapter award. To compete for state gold, silver or bronze awards, chapters must qualify for the superior chapter award and complete another form. That form is used to report goals, plans of action and results/evaluation on three activities for each division. State judges rank the chapters as gold, silver or bronze based on the rubric. Chapters receive a multi-year plaque and yearly plaque inserts, commonly known as spurs, specifying the level achieved each year.

Our vegetable sale will be next week! May 6th - May 10th from 9-4. All vegetables and herbs are $2. Tomato varieties are: better boys, better bush, lemon boys, romas, super sweet 100s.
Pepper varieties are: pretty n sweet, jalapeños, cayennes, california wonders, giant marconis.
Dark Green Zucchini, Gold Prize Squash, and Sweet Slice Cucumbers.

We also still have beautiful hanging baskets as well!

We had a FANTASTIC day! We visited Happy Cow Creamery, Major Farms, and the Upstate Livestock Auction. Successful field trip in the books!

We want to update you on our spring plant sale. We ARE selling our flowers Saturday. Our usual seed supplier had some crop failures and hasn’t been as successful this year. After discussing with other ag teachers and our young farmer group we are going to hold on to our vegetables, herbs, marigolds, and zinnias until May 6-10. We are super sorry for inconvenience this causes you all. We would rather hold them back and give you all top quality than try to sell them to you how they are now. We hope you will still come out THIS Saturday for all your flower needs!
