We are so proud of the members of our Corpus Christi School Choir who represented us at the first ever Diocese of Oakland Choral Festival. They are lead by our incredible Musical Director of Corpus Christi Parish, Mr. Joseph Hebert.

Our 8th graders (and newly admitted high schoolers!) enjoyed a beautiful Cathedral Day with Bishop Barber and their fellow students throughout the Diocese. Special thanks to ours hosts at the Department of Catholic Schools. 🙏🏽💡🥰

As part of a literature unit on the Holocaust, the 8th grade class read Night (Elie Wiesel) and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (John Boyne). They had a visit from Ralph Samuel, who was a child in Dresden at the start of the war and part of the Kindertransport to England at the age of seven. He shared his story, and the 8th graders participated in a conversation about his experiences — what a gift to understand history through the experience of a person who lived it! 🙏🏽💝

Mrs. Cramer recently lead the 2nd graders though a study of primary sources. Students posted family photos (dating back as far as the 1890’s!) on a timeline outside of the classroom. After sharing what they knew about the family members in the photos, they applied their inquiry skills to “see, think, and wonder” about the lives of the people in the images. Students noted with wonder about the lives of enslaved people, experiences at war, vehicles (and cable cars!) from the 1980s, rural life, social life in the 40s, Catholic school students in the 60s, and more!! 📚❤️ Another great example of our SLE #2: Love Learning 📚📖📓
