📚💜 Literacy is EVERYONE’S job at Violet!

Walk through our halls and you’ll see something pretty special…our Violet staff, regardless of the role they serve, coming together to help students grow as readers. 💪📖

Our differentiated literacy groups give students targeted, skill-based instruction through structured, systematic literacy instruction designed to meet them right where they are and move them forward.

Admin, Teachers, intervention staff, related arts teachers, support staff are all part of the work. Because when we say high academic access for all abilities, we mean ALL of us are in. 👏

Different groups.
Different skills.
Different starting points.
One goal: grow readers. 🎯📚

This is what literacy in action looks like at Violet! 💜

👹🍬 THE CANDY MONSTERS ARE HUNGRY! 🍬👹

Our Candy Monsters have officially made their way back into the Violet hallways… and they’re ready to be FED! 👀

We’re collecting individually wrapped candy October 1–15 to help make our Trunk or Treat extra special for our Super Violets! 🎃🍭

And remember… this isn’t just candy collection. 😉
🏆 The grade that collects the MOST candy wins a TOUCH-A-TRUCK experience at recess with the Violet Township Fire Department! 🚒🔥

So raid the candy stash, grab a bag (or five!), and send those sweet treats in with your child!

👹🍬 FEED THOSE MONSTERS! 🍬👹
Let’s see which grade can fill those monster bellies the most! 🎃💜

Thanks to the Lepi, Roberts, Harvey and Shann families for decorating this years monsters
