Pinch me: I get to join Silas House, Ada Limon, and Safiya Sinclair on the island of Patmos, Greece, for a unique gathering called “The Stories We Tell.” You’re invited too!

This Salon is hosted by GoodWorld Journeys next June 18-28. We’ll explore the power of words and narratives expressed through every kind of storytelling: novels, memoirs, poetry, personal essays, and creative nonfiction. In talks, conversations, and creative exercises with Salon participants and my artist friends, we’ll discuss the writing process, delve into how we shape our narratives, and offer advice on story and writing craft.
