The first day of school can bring big feelings—for students and parents alike. Whether it's excitement, nervousness, or a few tears at drop-off, those emotions are completely normal. Transitions can be hard, and it's okay to feel a mix of emotions as we begin a new school year.

A special shoutout to this amazing family for sharing such a meaningful back-to-school tradition. After reading The Kissing Hand, they drew hearts on their hands as a reminder that the love of a parent or special loved one is always with them, even when they're apart. What a beautiful way to help ease first-day worries and build confidence!

If your child is feeling a little anxious about coming to school, know that they're not alone. With patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement, those butterflies often turn into smiles. Our school family is here to support every child as they settle into new routines, make new friends, and create wonderful memories.
