💦 Splash, play, and learn! 💙

Our one-year-old friends had the best time cooling off with some water play today! Water play isn’t just fun—it’s a wonderful sensory activity that helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and encourages exploration and curiosity.

There were lots of smiles, giggles, and happy little splashes! ☀️💧

Good evening, Little Lifers families,

After closely monitoring the weather forecast, local emergency updates, and current road conditions, we have made the decision to close Little Lifers Learning Center on Friday, June 19.

The safety of our children, families, and staff is our top priority. With the severe weather, flash flooding, and multiple staff members already experiencing road closures and travel concerns, we do not feel we can safely operate while ensuring proper staffing ratios and the highest level of care for your children.

We know this may cause inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this decision with everyone’s safety in mind.

Donuts with Dad will be rescheduled for Monday morning during drop-off. We look forward to celebrating with all of our dads then!

As Tropical Storm Arthur continues to move through our area, our Little Lifers family has been on our hearts.

We wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. If your family has experienced any damage, flooding, power outages, or needs prayers, please let us know. We are more than a daycare—we are a family, and families look out for one another.

Little Lifers Learning Center will be closed on Thursday, June 18, due to the anticipated impacts of Tropical Storm Arthur and the potential for severe weather, flooding, and hazardous travel conditions.

While we always strive to remain open for our families, the safety of our children, families, and staff must come first. Local officials have declared a state of emergency and are encouraging residents to prepare for changing conditions over the next several days.

We will continue to monitor the weather and will provide updates regarding Friday as more information becomes available.

Please stay safe, monitor local weather alerts, and do not travel through flooded roadways.
