🚒🔥 Thank You, Leetown Volunteer Fire Department! 🔥🚒

Yesterday, our Wildcats had a very special visit from the Leetown Volunteer Fire Department! Our students had the opportunity to learn important fire safety lessons and see firsthand the dedication and bravery of those who serve our community.

A HUGE thank you to the Leetown Volunteer Fire Department for taking time out of their day to educate, encourage, and pour into our students. We are so grateful for your commitment to keeping our community safe!

We also had some very special volunteers join us—several Hancock High School students who came to help make the day extra special for our Wildcats! Thank you for giving your time and being such wonderful role models for our younger students.

And a special thank you to Hancock County School District for allowing these students the opportunity to come serve and give back. It truly made the day even more meaningful!

🌟 MISSION SPECIALIST SPOTLIGHT: MS. ANNA! 🌟

Ms. Anna is truly a GEM at WHE! Her gentle, welcoming voice makes every one of our Pre-K students feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. She has an incredible way of positively redirecting students while keeping them engaged, encouraged, and ready to learn!

You can almost always find Ms. Anna with a smile on her face and an encouraging word for her students and coworkers. She pours so much love, patience, and positivity into her classroom each day, and it shows!

Our Pre-K students have already grown so much since starting their journey at WHE, and the countless hugs they give Ms. Anna are a pretty good sign of just how much they adore her!

Our WHE family loves Ms. Anna just as much, and we are so blessed to have her on our team! Thank you, Ms. Anna, for being such a bright light in our Pre-K classroom and for helping our littlest Wildcats begin their WHE journey with so much love and encouragement!

🌟 WHE EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH! 🌟
Help us celebrate two incredible members of our WHE family — Ms. Shaw, our Teacher Support Coach, and Ms. Angela Necaise, our Interventionist & Bus Driver!

Ms. Shaw works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure our teachers have the resources, guidance, and support they need to be successful. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, find a solution, and do whatever it takes to support our teachers and students. So much of what she does happens behind the scenes, but her impact is felt throughout our school every day!

Ms. Angela Necaise is the definition of selfless, caring, kind, and compassionate. Whether she is supporting students as an interventionist, safely transporting our Wildcats, or simply helping someone who needs it, Ms. Angela is always willing to step up. She has a heart for others and never hesitates to help wherever she is needed.

We are so thankful for these two amazing ladies and the countless ways they make West Hancock Elementary a better place!

Congratulations, Ms. Shaw & Ms. Angela!
You are both truly deserving of this recognition!

📣🏈 HAWK PRIDE AT WHE! 🏈📣

We had some VERY special visitors at WHE yesterday! Our HHS Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Talons, Football Players, and Band came out to get our Wildcats fired up with an AWESOME pep rally!

And seeing some of our former WHE Wildcats return as HHS cheerleaders, dancers, football players, and band members made it an extra special treat! Watching our Wildcats grow from little elementary students into HHS Hawks is what it’s all about!

Last night, our WHE students lined the field at the beginning of the game to cheer on our HHS Hawks! We were so excited to show our support and school spirit!
